Bluff Utah

Took a trip to Bluff, Utah to hike the Comb Ridge area and view some archaeological sites. This area is loaded with Native American history dating back as far as 300 BC. The people that once lived here are the descendants of todays Navajo, Hopi and Utes and possibly other tribes may also claim them as their ancestors.

Most of the dwellings we saw were inside alcoves well protected from the elements which has allowed them to remain so well preserved. It was amazing to see the pictographs in white, red, and even green. All left by the people that once inhabited this area long ago.
